Shipping/Receiving/Inventory Clerk
The Shipping/Receiving/Inventory Clerk is a physically demanding job which requires you to be able to handle and/or lift up to 50 lbs. This person will verify and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments, receives incoming shipments, prepares items for outgoing shipments, maintains accurate inventory, pull part orders, maintains Service Center supply levels. We are growing company with a fast pace technical environment. Attendance is a must and hard work is rewarded. This person must be able to speak and understand fluent English

Division: Service Center
Reports To: Service Center Manager and Engineering Manager
Salary Range: $14.00 an hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Receive and ship of all products via UPS/FEDEX etc. and LTL
  • Check new merchandise
  • Inspect the quality and condition of new merchandise
  • Ensure the merchandise received matches the quantity ordered
  • Preparation and shipment of outgoing merchandise (incl. ability to build crates from scratch, using overhead crane for heavy items)
  • Maintaining accurate parts inventories
  • Pull part orders
  • Maintain Service Center supply levels and communicate needs to Service Center Manager
  • Cleaning and maintenance of the repair shop and shop fixtures
  • Supporting the Service Center and Service Technician and Supervisor with rotary joint repair work and related tasks

The employee will be required to follow other instructions and to perform other duties requested by the Service Center Manager not mentioned in the job description

Education and/or Experience: 

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • shipping/receiving experience preferred, but not required
  • experienced using hand/power tools
  • ability to operate a sit-down forklift is preferred, but not necessary, will train
  • mechanical background is desirable

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must possess a valid Ga. Driver’s License

Communication Skills:
Must be able to read, write and comprehend English

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to think in critical situations.

Computer Skills:
Competency with Microsoft Office Suite.
